I’m a UX/UI Designer based in the beautiful city of Heide, Germany. I like to design interfaces and make them intuitive, simple and pretty. I have a passion for interior, architecture and stunning design in general. Oh and I'm a tea person.
Growing up, I have always been fascinated by aesthetic design. Already as a child I was passionate about photography and after I could afford my own reflex camera, I started a blog and shared my photos online. First I began with a basic blog design and logo but I realized that I wanted more. I started to teach myself HTML, CSS and logo design to create a beautiful and functional blog design. This was the time I found out about my passion for intuitive, functional and aesthetical digital design. Little did I know that I can turn my passion into a career.
As an international management and foreign trade graduate I started my career in online marketing followed by my current role as a Customer Success Manager, where I implement marketing campaigns for our clients on our business network platform. With time I noticed that I felt a lack of satisfaction at my routine job. It was when I realized my creative itch needed a scratch! To fulfill my passion, I decided to expand my knowledge skillset and embark on a career in design.
Putting my learner's hat on, I dove into an immersive UI Design program offered by CareerFoundry, where I collaborated with industry veterans to deep dive into UX/UI Design and equipped myself for the career transition. Without hesitation, I subsequently started the Frontend Development for UI Designers program – also offered by CareerFoundry – to extend my knowledge in HTML and CSS and learn about JavaScript.
As a thorough designer with frontend development skills, I'm skillful in crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that are user-centric with a focus on solving business problems. I have a keen eye for aesthetic visual design, which adds value to how I create engaging user experiences and unique brand identity. With my seasoned background and commitment to continuously learning, I am confident that I can add value to the design field by bringing a fresh perspective.
