Project Overview
This messenger app design was part of my UI Design course at CareerFoundry. It was a small project next to a large comprehensive one to find out what it will be like in the professional world – because as a UX/UI designer it's likely to work on several projects.
The challenge was to create a messenger app by using common UI elements which users are familiar with.
UI Design
I designed an iOS messenger app by using common components and familiar elements. I created a primary screen that contains all conversation threads with a simple navigation bar at the bottom and a prominent button to start a new chat. Furthermore I designed a conversation screen that includes the keyboard. In addition, I built a simple contact screen.
